   Project Overview:

X-Shell is a GUI Based command line processor/shell for the X-Windows/KDE Linux environment. Linux relies highly on its command prompt as a means of control over the Operating System. Even the most complex operations in Linux can, and sometimes even should, be run from the command prompt.

X-Shell gives the typical environment one would expect from a Linux shell (example being bash) while making for a much friendlier use of the system. With windows giving a listing of available commands, full detailed man pages for the commands, and many other point and click options, the Linux text based shell will be made much easier.

This will be a great system for beginning or even advanced users. Beginners will have a much easier time learning all the commands used in the Linux Operating System. Where as advanced users will have quick point and click access to the commands as well as no longer having to memorize all the command line options for any command.

X-Shell will also give Administrators greater control over the administration of the users currently on the system.
